Good, I'm glad most of us then agree that The House Committee On Un-American Activities, formed in 1938, went way to far in subpoenaing American citizens accused of being communists, right? Let the hypocrisy begin.... Somewhat kidding. I know that the committee needed to investigate people who meant to do harm to the US, but it ruined many people's lives who were either a member of the communist party, or socialized with someone who was a member.
