Seeking electric shaver recommendations

Gents, I've never had an electric shaver before and I am considering to buy one. Do y'all have any recommendations as far as brands and models? Any I should stay away from? My skin is pretty sensitive too. Any advice and knowledge you can give me will be highly appreciated.

Check out the Panasonic wet/dry line.
Panasonic Arc5
I shave in the shower every other day. No shaving cream just water.
I find I get a better shave from the electric. My skin gets very irritated from a regular razor than with the electric.

I switched to electric a few years ago when I started taking Plavix and had to worry about every nick and scratch bleeding. The first electric I bought was a Phillips that had a tendency to pull my beard hairs, very uncomfortable. Fortunately it died within six months and I replaced it with a Panasonic that I like much, much better. It gives a smooth shave (for an electric) with no discomfort at all. I sometimes even forget to use aftershave. Here's a LINK

I have sensitive skin on my neck and I usually have to wait 3-4 days for the hair to get long enough to shave. I don't like how scruffy it looks on those last days for work. I tried electric razors but couldn't ever find one worth a shite. I recently tried the Norelco $80-90 model (wet/dry) and didn't like it.
I am curious about the Panasonic and the difference and how close of a shave.

It has been my experience that none of them shave as close as a razor, including the very expensive electric shavers. If getting one, definitely get a wet/dry one. I did like being able to use it in the shower.
None below $100 are worth having

Braun is the correct answer.

It works best when shaving a one or two day growth of beard that sticks straight out rather than being plastered down next to the skin. I've never gotten irritation from it.
You can use it wet with shaving cream but it's not really necessary. I can't tell any difference in closeness wet or dry.

Braun series 9 ($$$) quietest, fastest
Braun series 7 ($$) less powerful, louder, still good
Buy the series 9 if you don't mind spending $250 + (BBB discount coupon)

that's about it. you will regret buying low.
look at the top 3 most expensive where you can shop conveniently and then look at reviews on line.
I like one that has its own special sauce you put on your skin. it also "requires" that you ship it to the manufacturer to be tuned up once a year.
So that one costs more and has a maintenance factor.
But its great.

I use a double edge safety razor now. I have to shave every morning for work (Army) and my face does not like it. Also, I have to shave in a hurry a lot so I tend to nik my self quite a bit, so that's why I am looking into the electric shaver.

I have tried a few, all were over $100 bucks, and all sucked. If you are in the Army I wouldn't even think about one unless you don't have a lot of hair growth on your face.

I use a Norelco Aquatec (wet/dry). Don't remember what I paid but it was less than $100.
Whichever electric razor you use, give your skin at least two weeks to acclimate. Until that happens, you won't get a close shave.
