It's a real notebook, the pages are a thin plastic, paper-like material though. You take notes and take a picture of them with your phone. The app categorizes the notes and you can have them sent to onenote, email, or other note apps so you have them organized and on your devices. You don't have to bring around different notebooks to meetings. Then you can erase the notes and reuse the pages. If anyone I work with reads this then I'm probably outing myself because I geekd out over it for a few weeks after I got it.
