Copied Cosmo's thread title from last year, but not the original post content as it contains too much snowboarder hate

Anybody have trips planned yet they want to brag about, or need advice on gear or destinations, this is the place to do it.

Let's make some OTGT type shite happen this season baws

I have the Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus and Mountain Collective. Looking forward to my first Jackson Hole trip this winter, and also either Alaska or Whistler for one other non-Colorado trip. Hopefully bamafan will house me over in Steamboat to use a few of my days there

Haven't had much early season snow in Colorado and unseasonably warm temps for October which look to hold through the first part of November. Meanwhile Jackson Hole, Whistler, and Asahidake in Japan are getting pounded regularly

Military moving us to close to San Francisco in January, excited though since we will be 3 hours from Lake Tahoe.

Any recommendations on where to head there? Military discount = +++

Lake Tahoe

Get the Epic pass. Yes, it is $800 but you get unlimited access to Heavenly, Kirkwood, and Northstar and all the other Vail owned resorts

There may be something better for local Tahoe access, but I am unaware of what that would be. Mountain Collective pass me be another good option for you with some options between Northern California and British Columbia with a cheaper price tag

Shoulda been more specific, we have a 3 y/o and a 1 y/o at the time of getting out there, we won't get our money's worth out of a pass unfortunately.

I'm east of the Mississippi now, so only two trips planned. Snowshoe, WV and Whistler, B.C. in January. Little trips to hills before that to keep the form up.

When I lived back west I would ski 10-12 times a season...
