This was a joke made at the airport as we were heading there for a golf trip. Maybe he said Europe, it was 10yrs ago. Point being that it did seem accurate once we got over there. We played 1 of 8 rounds in N. Ireland, so yeah, the reference was to non-UK Ireland.
