He didn't and doesn't but it's not really the point.

This thread really outlines a solipsistic worldview where he has come to condemn established knowledge because of a series of bad personal experiences with doctors (similar experiences with other epistemic authorities are likely behind his flat-earth beliefs).

He's floating free where no arguments relying on claims from institutional knowledge will be remotely persuasive to him. I think he'd need to have a lived personal experience of medical treatment helping him or a loved one to make a dent.

the fact that you say you are chief of medicine at a hospital is scary, very scary.

its also very obviously a lie

He's got strong flat earther vibes, but that particular point he was trying to make was pretty clear.

Not understanding it makes me question your intelligence as well

I'm not arguing germ theory, Gaggle.

Do you think there are any epistemic problems with solipsism?

wow. I guess covid forgot about the clean water that got rid of polio according to you.

ironically the fact that sanitation is your answer supports the fact of transmissible contagion. this an example of why everyone sees straight through you ill conceived perceptions.

not sure what youre talking about.

I understood the points he's made, I just think they're moronic and often highly self contradictory. beside the fact that its entirely unnecessary to do highly unethical direct human experiments like he believes should be done. we have a wealth of data from animal studies proving contagion transmission we can reasonably apply to ourselves.

its also funny that he thinks clean water and sanitation is the answer and that it seemingly discredits notions of direct transmissibility, when in fact, that IS pretty much the route of transmissibility.

It sounds like your hypothesis is that poor sanitation, hygiene, etc are responsible for respiratory illness.

This seems like a pretty easy hypothesis to test. Can you link us to a study that shows your hypothesis is correct?

Let's tie these things together, Gaggle.

You've condemned:

germ theory and people who believe in it.
treatment of mood disorders and people who seek it.
people who believe the earth is round.

You admitted that you would prefer to live in a society with indigenous medicine presumably because it reduces your doxastic anxiety.

The mass of information in the world scares the shite out of you and you'd like to retreat from it.

If you could actually trust social science, I think you'd really like sociology of knowledge.

Mask and vax make you sick.

I agree covid was overblown but the fact remains, covid was around before masks and vaxes were mandated. so your idea is again moronic and doesnt jive with reality.

also where is your direct evidence in rigorous nonbiased study that masks/vax cause the illness?
funny how you require that nonbiased experiment until you want to spout nonsense claims.

Which has to do with?

I do believe there's a shite ton of bias in research and if you don't I have some ocean front property in Arizona. Who the frick knows what's true and what's not? You can't trust hardly anyone whether they claim to be objective or not. Look at shite like our dietary guidelines, government and health policy paid for by lobbyist.

cool. as long as you dont claim you are backed by science, data, or even logical reasoning.

funny how you require it from us though.
