Sat on the 1st row of a Ringling Brothers show as a little kid. A clown came up to me and said if I didn't smile all show long he'd throw a pie in my dads face. Me not knowing it was a joke smiled the rest of the show. Nt really scary but a clown story nonetheless.

I'll never understand what it is with grown men being afraid of clowns. It's a man with a pale face and red lips. What's scary about that? That would be like being afraid of Emma Stone.
I worked a haunted house one year and got the opportunity to dress up in a full body clown suit with long red hair. I would turn my head sideways and would scream at people when they walked through. I really think some of them shite their pants. The guys were more afraid then the women.
