Scale of trashiness?: Shooting pellets through an open bay window

Spinning off of the ammo topic...
On vacation my dad decided it was a good time for a hunting lesson while we were away. He showed my little baw how to remove the screen and then lean out for the shot. My little guy hit the rabbit which brought upon a lesson in tracking. Bugs was not found. (Did I mention he was limited to a pellet gun since behind the yard is a church parking lot?)

Level 0. Unused to shoot pheasants out of my window the same way late in the season they would pile into my wind break.

Pellets? I’ve shot a 20 gauge thru an open window (at the request of my father) to kill an armadillo that was rooting up the yard by his patio. Also shot my 870 thru the kitchen window when I was a kid to kill a starling. Mom wasn’t home on either occasion.
She was home the day I shot dads .243 at a yote in the back pasture. She was supremely pissed as the noise scared her and I used her car as the base for the bipod on his rifle.
Got the coyote tho.
May be trashy IYO, but it’s fun.

That never stopped my uncle.
He'd plunk squirrels in his backyard from the kitchen table with a .22 in suburban Minneapolis.

Not sure which is trashier: shooting a pellet gun out an open window, or living in a house adjacent to a parking lot.

Redneck friend of mine used to shoot doves from the window of his 2nd floor dorm room in college with a pellet gun. Just supplementing his diet when he ran out of $$ on his meal card.

The house has been there for years... long before the church parking lot. Civil War vet great great great grandpa was one of 8 men who built the church. At one point the church land was part of a huge parcel of land until it got split between siblings and sold off through the generations. My grandpa used to have a garden which acted as a good demarcation line but now is just grass.
