No houses = no traffic.
Someone living on 5ac in Watson will spend 5x the amount of time than I do in traffic, driving to my subdivision of probably 2,000 lots.

You absolutely cannot go to a side street to pass up traffic.

So how long would it take us to find out which council member or which member of Kip's staff you are?
Seriously, you're in every one of these threads.

well because no one has said that it would.

ythere needs to a roads that connect seigen, bluebonnet, essen/staring, and college/lee. Perkins get and the interstate get way to pack. hell burbank is rather clear if you could ever get to it.

I for one have never said it is a good idea. But sometimes you have to do drastic things because the fricktards in charge are only looking after themselves.
Only a looney tune would say it's not a good idea but sometimes you got to support a bad idea to a drastic result cause some people are only looking out after themselves.
Yeah, that's the logical solution to the problem.

yea lets not revolt against the King of England since our taxes are shipped back over there. We will be fine. I bet you are a very incompetent person.

Ironically, north BTR actually has great connectivity. It's got an actual grid system. Too bad no one has much use for it.

Haven't we been talking about Baton Rouge this entire thread? Sorry, I didn't realize we are now talking about traffic in Watson. Sweet transition douche

quote:Uh, you were the one that said "no houses=no traffic". That's only not a moronic statement if you're talking about someone that works in BTR and lives where there are "no houses". You're creating an argument based on idiotic assumptions about me. It should be no surprise that you're confused.
Sorry, I didn't realize we are now talking about traffic in Watson.

Great analogy and perfect example of the idiocy of the St. George secessionist. In one you had to brave a dangerous weeks long crossing of the Atlantic ocean, in the other you have to brave the congestion of driving from Choctaw to Siegen.
The United States could sever all ties with England cause of a vast geographic distance. St. George can never sever ties with the City, It can't run, so it can't hide.

Hell, getting somewhere off corporate at that time might take 45 minutes[/quote]
Not worth this extended debate but I make the commute daily. Unless there is an accident, the afternoon traffic flow is reasonable until you hit 10/12, which is why I exit at Airline. Others mentioned Perkins, Essen, etc...I avoid those like the plague during commuting hours. Plan your travel times, pick your routes, listen to NPR...commutes are actually my thinking/down times.

Connect Perkins and Corporate Blvd in between College Dr. and Essen. Also, have that road go ALL THE WAY to government with few stop lights.
Finish I-10 construction.
Blow up the walmart on College Dr. and put high(er) end apartments there with good security to keep out the Valley riff raff.
Make Airline and River Road more appealing somehow. Not sure how, but if more people used them, the interstates would be less congested.
Those are my 4 solutions.
