Where I live, we've had a couple the past few months. It happens.... big deal, boil the water or use bottled water. Its really nothing to bitch about.

It's not like it rare either like you guys are making it.
This is from a google search of "water boil Louisiana" and the first few results. Again, it happens all over often.

Wow..3 in a year and all in different cities. New Orleans gets 3 in a month sometimes. And the reasons are usually incompetence. 2 in the last year were due to operators napping.
