Once you get caught for one you might as well confess to a whole bunch to boost your reputation. Just because he said he did all of those doesn't mean it actually happened.

True. So far he has been credible in several of the cases he confessed to. Will be interesting to see this play out.

All the extra women he confessed to were killed similarly to the ones he was already caught for. He also decribed things and gave details only the killer would know from what I’ve read so it’s more than likely going to be 100% legit when all said and done.

I should be fairly easy to confirm if he had anything to do with them by asking specific questions about the murders. If you've killed 70 then you are obviously going to forget a few details on some but overall he should be able to cough up enough info.

They've basically confirmed over 35 now because of the details he knew that only the killer would know.
They haven't gotten to the rest. Apparently, he's been truthful the entire time so they're starting to believe his 90+ claim.
