is anyone having to use this trash? For a product called "Lightning," why does it take long to do virtually anything compared to Salesforce classic?

Maybe it's the Indian and not the arrow?

Switch to Microsoft Dynamics or ZoHo and see how that works out for you.

We were on Salesforce originally then switched to Dynamics. Dynamics sucked too. We switched back to Salesforce about a year ago and were using classic for about the first 9-10 months which is what we were all used to.

Having to use Lightning now, I feel like Classic is objectively better for what we do. There may be some advantages that Lightning has that better suite other departments.

Classic is the way to go. I hate Lightning. You can change your view though, you know.

Used sales force classic at my old job and got used to it and loved it. Knew the ins and outs and how to do exactly what I meant to do. They switched over to lightening and it was complete crap. So hard to accomplish tasks. I knew I was changing jobs so I refused to switch over

Why cant you guys just switch your view back to Classic? You go to your avatar at the top right, and hit "Go to Salesforce Classic"

Lightning sucks. Classic is awesome but one day they aren’t going to support it anymore. Plus they are adding on features to lightning that they aren’t in classic. Pisses me off.

I went to a SF meeting and talked to our sales guys at SF and vented how Lightning sucks and they acted like it was news to them.

My company switched to Salesforce, stupid arse mistake.

IT has been spiraling down into a world of throwaway applications and it is sad.

Salesforce turns into a shite pile of lies in a hurry to keep management happy that their reps are toeing the line on activities

Do you have SalesForce systems administrators and developers working for your company that are certified, like a CCNA? I’m not talking about SalesForce “consultants” that fly in from San Francisco to try and “mitigate” issues that may arise with your sales team during a software implementation.

Does anyone at your organization utilize the data loader tool that helps you to get your data into Salesforce objects? You can even use the Data Loader to perform bulk deletions by exporting the ID fields for the data you wish to delete and using that source to specify deletions through the Salesforce Data Loader, which is a must within the SMB and mid-market sector.

We have a whole team of SalesForce admins and developers around. Here is the problem in DFW there are an abundant supply of quality .Net developers (what former applications were on), there is not a great supply of SalesForce. Our previous CIO sent us down this path because it was something new. We will never have a positive ROI with the amount of money we sank on converting over and our applications are sub-par to what they were because of talent level.

They also built a building that looks like an uncircumsized penis. Bunch of freaks
