The Russians, especially the FSB, have proven multiple times that they aren't concerned with sacrificing a few hundred civilian lives, even those of their own citizens, to further their political/military agenda.

Better we arm and train terrorist groups and help them take down planes full of civilians.
It's ridiculous that we coddle these jack offs to avoid "offending" them. The destruction of Western civilization is imminent and we are so scared of "offending" these goat-fricking, child-raping, women-stoning heejabbis that we won't call a spade a spade.

They try to tug at heartstrings with pictures of dead children. And yes, that's a tragedy.
But the reality is that there is an invasion of the homeland going on. Millions of fighting age young men from a foreign land with a completely different outlook on life, religion, culture (and one that despises western thinking) at the gates!
They are feeding them. Sheltering them. And they aren't demanding assimilization as a condition of that!
In essence it's letting in the Mongols and saying "we'll take care of you, and we're cool if you are still Mongols doing Mongol things, but please don't act like Mongols towards us."
It's beyond stupid.
And at least the Russkies are fighting back.
Here we are trying to make them feel like they are an integral part of our space program!

Yep, what was thought by many right at the beginning. They are probably testing some new crap that is undetectable for future use. Some 9-11 type crap where they try to bring down a large number of planes at once.

The ONLY reason the Russians are there is to keep Assad in power and protect their base in Tartus, and therefore their access to the Mediterranean Sea.
They aren't there fighting terrorism, they're protecting their interests and that's it, plain and simple.
Not to mention, Russia is the largest supplier of arms to the regime, and has been for a long time.

There's nothing wrong with it. The post I was replying to made it seem like Russia is fighting the good fight out of the kindness of their hearts, while the US sits back and lets radical Islam take over the world.
