Yeah, phase 1 isn't happening
We won't even have any information about whether Thanksgiving produced any meaningful spike for another week or two.

I need a firm confirmation on this. Sitting in airport waiting on flight back to Louisiana. Maybe I should stay.

Government position: Senator Edwin Tuttle's cousin.

Edwin Tuttle was the governor, not a Senator. Remember when they were saying the only person who can arrest a sheriff in Louisiana is the governor?

ETA: Fixed it!

As regressive as we are.... I doubt it happens and if it does the answer to your question is dependent on what part of the state you are from. I was in Shreveport for thanksgiving and it was normal. Stopped in Monroe, no masks. Back in CenLa no masks and people are openly against it. But when I go to New Orleans everyone is in hazmat gear.

No he was governor but wasn't he a Senator by the end? I almost put governor since it made more sense but I will admit I double checked and the google said Senator. Did I get exposed? At least I didn't have to go to one of those Tuttle schools I guess.

shite, man, I'm just glad True Detective popped up, in spite of seasons 2 and 3's best efforts to make everyone think the entire thing was shite.

This is not going to happen. How can someone give someone confidential information and pass it on to a third party and then be outed by that third party?

If this were done in news, we sometimes we would never know the truth. We would be stuck with what ever is spoon fed to them by “official” sources.

Season 1 GOAT. season 2 sucked, but I watched it a second time a while back when I had the flu and it wasn't as bad as the first time (might have been the prescription cough syrup) I watched it but it should not bear the same name as Season 1. Season 3 meh.

It is just as likely to happen in order to force a stimulus. They've been angling for the bailout money from the jump.

This is extremely accurate. They all but explicitly say it, I'd respect them more if they did.

I posted about going back to phase 2 last week, and obviously that “source” was right. Previous to that announcement they were hearing about a return to shelter at home type restrictions ahead of the holidays, so idk if jbe backed up on that, or he’s slowly rolling things back, bc he did do that last time. Doesn’t matter if the “current order” last 28 days. Everything he’s said he didn’t need to do, he’s done. From shelter at home to mask mandate etc

hahaha that would be hilarious if the OP was about L.A. We are a little shellshocked here in La after this ordeal I suppose.

No - and I don’t care. All of this shite is frustrating especially for the small business owners, especially those in the food and hospitality industry.

If we go back to phase one, it’ll be closer to Christmas and that’ll only be because of a spike bc of thanksgiving- whether or not the spike is real is the question
