There is a severe shortage right now.

Where? Several “hot” “wanted” pieces in stock for sale at my local dealer at MSRP of course….. unless you want something super specific they aren’t hard to obtain at the moment

Where? I seen cases full of “exhibition” watches and when I ask to buy “we have nothing in stock”

Where? What’s the name of your local place? I’ll check in with them today if they’re open or tomorrow.

Got a call from an SA at the AD here the other day saying they had an allocation on a 126711 CHNR GMT (Two Tone Everose gold and steel). I thought what the heck, I'll go in and see, haven't been in in a little while. Had plenty of models marked "Exhibition Only" that were working watches and included the Rootbeer I mentioned above, two 126710 VTNR LHD "Sprite" GMTs, one each on Oyster and Jubilee, a mint green dial SS/WG SkyDweller. a TT "bluesy" sub, a WG blue ceramic bezel sub, blue dial DJ 41 steel fluted WG bezel, several 36 mm DJ's and a bunch of ladies watches.

All the good stuff was marked exhibition only and the ones I handled were working models. The only thing I would've walked out with if available would've been either the Rootbeer or the Sprite GMT. I've pretty made up my mind to take the Rootbeer, but she made it clear it'll be Nov or Dec for delivery. I will say, I'm a righty, but dang that LHD Sprite looked good on my wrist.
