I am willing to bet for every legitimate complaint there are 100 other complaints of people simply too lazy or too good to park legally and walk a few hundred feet.
I've parked for game day dozens of times. Never had a problem. I park quite a bit in New Orleans, never a problem. And I am convinced New Orleans drives around with a yard stick to make sure everyone is three feet away from drive ways, fire hydrants, etc.

Most of the complaints seem to be "they towed me right away and I was only going to be there 20 minutes"

Ok, what about the documented violations and illegal business practices in the links I provided?

stop trying to deflect by bringing up a different city. Riverside is in Baton Rouge.

That was years ago, and we haven't been back to that establishment since.
This is what people need to do.
Riverside are definitely POS. But the businesses that YOU are giving money to are the people hiring them. They only tow where they are hired.
A few years ago, there was a pub crawl at North Gates of LSU. The pub crawl began at BWW and went all around the area. Every person who parked in BWW's lot was towed. They even showed Riverside the receipts, but Riverside countered that they remained parked there and walked to somewhere else.. which is true because it was a pub crawl.
The people then contacted BWW for them to pay for it. The issue made it all the way up to corporate, and they ultimately decided not to pay for it. I don't know if corporate knew the location was participating in the pub crawl to begin with.
Hate Riverside all you want. They're scum. But when a business hires someone to perform a service, they perform the service.
As for Riverside towing people who are legally parked, I see people say that here, but I don't personally know of anyone who has had it happen. It has never happened to me for sure. I notice those red and white signs no matter what. I've yet to have a problem.

New Orleans is far worse then Baton Rouge with parking enforcement.
Since your simple mind cannot comprehend my point, I will dumb it down for you.
"In major metropolitan areas, you can usually avoid being towed by parking legally and not like an a-hole."

Can your simple mind comprehend the links I provided in which documented illegal business practices were taking place? Apparently not, since you keep ignoring them altogether.

They fricked up big time about two years ago and towed a legally parked state legislator. It lead to an investigation or something. He went after them hard. I'm trying to find an article, I'm pretty sure it was covered by the BR Business Report.

You should probably reconsider. It takes at least some intellectual horsepower to pull off being a condescending jerk.

Like I said I bet for every one legitimate complaint of being "illegally towed," I bet there are 100 complaints of "I was only going to be there a few minutes" or "the lot was empty and I dont know why it matters."
I don't even know Riverside Towing. That's because when I go to BR I park legally.

They were just paper work problems, and the staging of cars in a lot which is not allowed, every type of business has problems with regulatory agencies, you respond, and possibly pay a fine, they don't shut down businesses for minor issues.

I thought that was going to be CM Punk's grammar slam. I would have been more impressed at pointing out my typo, grammar mistake, whatever.

He just felt the need to demonstrate his moral and intellectual superiority.

Honestly, I am unwilling to believe any tow company would drive around looking for legally parked vehicles to tow when there are so many people parked like assholes in Baton Rouge to tow.
