My boomeranger will be very short lived. She's ready to go to work. She graduated with honors in 3.5 years so no complaints from me.

Awesome. I know you are proud.
Similar situation here. Meeting lots of people, lots of phone calls, lots of coffees, a few lunches, great references and all that...but nothing has materialized yet. Companies get really slow as they close out the year during the holidays, and potential new hires are a very low priority. Something will happen when the time is right.

Last seen alive Dec. 19; found dead Dec. 30.
No one missed her at Christmas? I guess someone may have spoken to her on the phone in the interim, but still.

It is a sad day in every American boy who grew up in the late 70's and early 80's to lose an icon like this.
