Yea I finally got to that as well. That was hard but enjoyed thinking through all of it. It ended up being like a sudoku in disguise.

Three guys eat at restaurant and order the same thing, which costs $10 each.
They each give the waiter 10 one dollar bills.
The waiter is told by the manager that he knows those guys....just charge them $25 total.
Waiter does not want to divide $5 by 3 people, so he pockets 2 and gives them each $1 back.
That means each guy spent $9 (that's 27) and the waiter has 2. That's 29. What happened to the other dollar?

In a tunnel of darkness lies a beast of iron. It can only attack when pulled back. What is it?
Artillery.
Artillery.

It was kind of your standard LSAT logic puzzle question.

The waiter has $30 and keeps $2 which makes $28 the waiter has. He gives $1 to each which makes $25 ($28-$3).
