Rewards Card

So I usually don't use credit cards but lately have been thinking about getting a rewards card to help with travel since I have two kids.
I'd pretty much just use it to pay bills/groceries/maybe gas and hope to accumulate enough points to take a decent vacation (or at least the flights) every 2-3 years or so.
Can anyone offer any suggestions on what card might be the easiest to accumulate points and be able to use them on travel...
Thanks

Bank of America Cash Rewards. Pay it off every month and rack up the cash. You can use the cash for whatever you want. I love it.
Also this particular card has no annual fee

You will get much better replies on Money Talk but I can hit you up with a Chase Sapphire Preferred link. 50,000 bonus points after spending $3k in 3 months.
Also while cash back is simpler, you get much more value in redeeming points for flights, hotels, etc.

Money talk will refer you to this card also. Best card on the market for what you described

Is it a difficult process redeeming the points?
Do you have to book travel through certain airlines/hotels/websites etc...

Dude, get the card and charge everything possible on it and pay off monthly. You are letting tons of rewards pass you by.

To maximize the usage of your points you have to book through chase. The fee is like $90 a year if I remember correctly.

Right but when I book through CHASE do they only offer me certain airlines?

Money board has a large thread about it. I like the venture card.

It is ridiculously simple to redeem, but it does take some time to figure out how to maximize what you have. You can redeem them through a portal on your chase account. You can also transfer them to partnering airlines, hotels, etc and get bonuses.
If you use the link below I will receive 10,000 bonus points. Or if you want to give me your email, I can email you the link. Don't feel obligated to use my link.

Chase Sapphire FTW
ETA: just go to the details page and see who their partner rewards programs are that you can transfer to. I transfer to SWA, United, and IHG.

This. Only card I know of that gives 2 points for all purchases. Also, super easy to redeem.

Money talk has a huge detailed thread on this. Wait for Teddy Rux. Freedom/Saph Pref seems to be the current consensus but I would check for current signup bonuses.

Book through there site. Really easy. I don't even have a chase account, only credit card, and handle everything on my phone.
Doesn't get better than this card right now
