Incorrect. There have been a lot of shootings in which the attacker keeps coming or shooting back after being shot.

Unless you are very good at using a revolver, I would suggest a shotgun for home defense. Some people have purchased a starter 20 gauge pump shotgun for this purpose.

Have one with .410 buckshot in it. Definitely an area weapon lol.
