It's a topic that is never resolved since it's just an accusation and not an undeniable truth. It's why Bigfoot rumors are still around. No body can prove there's NOT a bigfoot, so when a guy claims to see it, it makes the local news.

Plus it's college. The kids there now didn't see the article 4 years ago, so it's new to them.
