Yep. I've been all over the Caribbean and Belize was easily the poorest country I've been to down there.

I just lived in Malaga Spain for three Months and woukd defination namely move there. Just like live ng in N O in the 50s and 60s.
Family means something, Christanity, police are respected, great food, culture.

I love my a Country but we are really fricked up

As someone who spent two weeks working in Belize city, yes, it is a shithole and I would never consider it somewhere to relax

Who are you fooling? You´re only there because the per capita number of hot Malagueñas is amazingly high.

Anyway, I´m Spanish and American, and agree.

There´s a lot to bitch about in Spain as well (just don´t do it if you´re not Spanish ), but these facets of the country which you mention are sorely missed here.

I have been looking at this very island for a location once the kids get out of college...among some other places as well.

Most likely I will stay in my current location, but wife and I have not ruled out relocating somewhere in the carribean / central America.
