Removing even just a tiny amount causes a big change in pressure points on the joint surfaces a new tear is bound to occur. You will likely need joint replacement in your late 60s

Try good stretching and ice it a couple times a day.

Mine was never the same after surgery. As far as the pain goes. Surgery now seems like a waste
