Lagneaux's on Ridge rd. If you like good food and not worried about the white trash around you.

If you want decent fried seafood, in a shitty atmosphere, 20 miles from campus.

Old Tyne grocery would be the local campus pick. LSU gear isn't super out of place, but you may want to consider other wardrobe options

Thanks for the recommendations. Went to Social and it was good. Will try a po-boy tomorrow. Wife (no pics) wants to go to Pamplona next time.

Any must see on ULL campus?

For poboy places in Lafayette go to Zydeco or pops

Hell no. If somebody makes eye contact for too long, kick 'em in the nuts.

Prejean's has turned into an overpriced tourest trap. Try Lagneaux's buffet.

Wife and I used to drive from BR to Laffy and destroy some Pamplona. I got mad when they took the risotto off the menu. It was killer!

Then we got hooked on Jolie's, but since that closed down, we are back to Pamplona.

Give Marcello's a try, they have a different risotto daily and it's fantastic. My favorite entre is the braised pork cheeks, or if you're less adventurous the fried chicken fettuccine Alfredo is the best you're likely to ever have.

Does the Bulldog still serve $1 burgers during the week? I use to go there all the time. Good burgers at the time. Of course this was late 90's early 2000's.
