As the unofficial mayor, I am requesting you do what ever the hell you feel comfortable with regarding masks during this hoax. Please be mindful of grandma and grandpa.

It takes a special kind of stupid to truly believe a virus is a hoax.

It is man-made and being exploited for political purposes but it is not a hoax.

So you're saying St. George should be a Sanctuary City for spoiled and/or ignorant white people who don't want to wear masks?

TDsngumbo - Nobody is saying it is a hoax and those that are saying that are just stupid. What some of us are saying is that this virus is being blown way out of proportion to how deadly it really is. The media has an agenda of fear mongering. The coroners and doctors and emergency room doctors are getting paid extra to put "coronavirus" on the death certificate because they are getting paid. The Democrats are wanting the numbers inflated because it looks bad on Trump...... etc.... The list goes on and on. It's a real virus but it's not nearly as deadly and horrible as the media makes it.

St. George will have a ban on wearing masks.

The official handshake in St. George involves coughing on each other.

Talk about missing the point
Merely suggesting that the citizens of St. George are able to choose if they wear a mask or not. Something called Personal Responsibility

Yep.

1) BRPD is said to enforce the mask mandate (no feasible way they can)

2) we in STG hang with the Sheriff’s Department

I am so thankful to see so many of my fellow citizens giving up their freedoms for a little bit of safety. All of this for a disease that 99.8% of people will survive. Meanwhile in the real world over 40 million people are unemployed. Way to go folks. You make me proud to be an American. Happy July 4th.

Any city’s official positions should be that there is a virus and it spreads this way. We have to learn to live with this virus and any future virus.

Washing hands, social distancing, and taking other precautions such as wearing a mask is said to help in the spread of the virus.

We do ask that businesses practice social distancing and people in our community do the same.

We will not enforce social distancing practices as people are grown adults. Grown adults should be able to make the best decisions for their health.

If someone would like a mask but cannot find or afford one the city will provide them at the below locations from 8am - 5pm M-F and 8 am to 12 noon on Sat.
