Thank God we have our daily thread about the fricking masks. I do not understand the redneck obsession with these things...

Yeah, my commute to the office was usually around 7 minutes. Now it often takes 45 and has an hour & half before.

My favorite is when they accuse mask wearers of virtue signaling without a hint of irony.

The Klondike gold rush and stampede of 1897 is one of my favorite historical topics to study in “recent” history. It blows me away that a town that was largely founded by these renegades is now so fricking beta. I just doesn’t make sense

Meanwhile its a daily thread with the same generalizations and insults that have been spammed endlessly since Covid started - JBE is a cuck, democraps are gay, blah blah blah blah. It's hilarious if you post anything that doesn't conform to the ridiculous Fox News e-patriot roleplaying nonsense thats going on, you get blasted as a commie even though it's not even remotely true.

'Probably because so many of your people have posted pics of them in masks saying they refuse to not wear them, as to not look like a conservative.

What would you call that?

Idk where you get your scientific info from but if they are telling you that you are more at risk from the virus by wearing a mask you might wanna reevaluate things.

Even if you don't believe they help, they certainly don't hurt, and can even prevent you from catching other viruses

Once you get outside the People's City of Seattle, the state gets very, very red.
Well, once you get out of the metro, at least. Most of the suburbs are 'purple'. It does get very red, very quickly when you leave the metro, though. Especially once you cross the mountains.

Most of the insanity that makes this board comes from Seattle proper and Olympia.

It is interesting that a board that understands that NOLA isn't representative of all of LA doesn't understand the same concept when applied to other areas.

Eh it extends down to Olympia and up to Bellingham...that’s like 75% of the states population. But then, yes, everywhere else is full of those who value freedom

Not really. At least not nearly as blue as Seattle and Olympia. You have a few very blue dots surrounded by a sea of purple.

The problem is cities like New Orleans and Seattle pretty much dictate policy for the entire state on some issues.
