Had a truck once like that....I think the reason I got such a good deal on it is the fricker must have died from cancer.

I tried everything and there is nothing that will ever truly eliminate it. It will get fainter but you can always tell.

Yep. I got a '14 that was listed at the same price as a '13 on the same lot. They had the same specs and the mileage was almost identical. The difference was that that the '14 had the smoke smell and mud tires on it.

Kill a hooker. Leave her in there about 5-7 days.

Does it promise to get rid of it permanently or is it a temp fix?

Turtle wax

Apparently there are steps & the last is the spray bomb
Looks like it goes for permanent smell removal
The bomb has a "fresh" scent, it's not terrible but kinda strong

Turtle Wax makes an "odor bomb" called Odor X. It's just like a bug bomb for a house. Leave truck running with a/c running full blast, engage the bomb, place it in middle of truck, close doors with windows up and let it do its thing for 15 minutes. Works awesome! I just used one for the first time a few weeks back and my truck still smells fresh.

Sold in a kit with the bomb and a small spray bottle for $6-$7. Walmart has it in automotive section.
