My kid is in first grade and just started google classroom this week. It’s been tough working with her attention span. We try to do an hour of schoolwork in the morning, I may have to break it up into 2, 30 minute sessions.
And I have realized that the new Math they are teaching them is nothing like the Math I learned in school.

Daily videos sent by one of the "enrichment" teachers (music, drama, French, etc)
She is in 1st grade and spends about 2-3 hours a day on schoolwork. None of it is graded or turned in. It's all on the parents.
We set her "office" up right next to mine, so she feels really important, so that has helped her get excited about her schoolwork.

You'd be bitching if they graded it and now bitching because they don't. You seem like one of those parents who think it's the schools job to 100% educate your child with 0 effort from you. Good lord what a tool you are.
