In hay and dirt, the smell of excrement surrounding him. Even in birth, Christ he was surrounded by hardship, marginalized by the world, foreshadowing his ultimate betrayal and rejection, to be given up for the forgiveness of the sin of the world. And yet, through his sacrifice he would become the King of the Universe.

Friends, no matter what material hardships you may endure, no matter the physical, financial, emotional hardships you experience, just know that out of a manger, a place in this world fit only for donkeys and swine, came none other than Our God made flesh. And that he understands, and he loves and redeems because he understands.

God bless you all and merry Christmas.

Also remember that he said he would return, but if anybody nowadays stood up and proclaimed they were Jesus we’d all call him crazy and have him committed.

This. New Testament references to Jesus returning point towards a public event, to be witnessed by all.
But.... what if He returned in the same manner he came? How many of us would miss it?

I love the irony of people who proclaim they want equality, freedom of religion, etc. coming in here and shitting on this guy for what he believes.

And this is why religious threads aren’t usually allowed here.

He made a public post. Expect public responses. Put your big boy underwear on.

Would you and the OP enjoy comparable posts from people who believe in other religions?

Freedom of religion doesn’t mean freedom from critical speech. You wanna live in a land where we don’t have the right to make fun of mythology go to Saudi Arabia.
