Well as usual, you're retarded. You can absolutely overstudy for something
I took 4 tests that more people fail and than pass and that only about a third finish. You cannot over study for those. As much as you study, you are still unprepared for parts of it.
You may can try to cram too much in a short amount of time, but you absolutely can not over study

Is the NCLEX difficulty on par with the FE or PE for Elec Eng's?
Because the FE required me to remember probably every math/engineering class from freshman year to senior. That sucked.

Oh, well that makes your super specific experience universal.

Really? The FE was stupid easy. It was a time management test more than anything.
ETA: My wife put more work into her NCLEX prep than I put into my FE prep, but that doesn't really answer your question. Based off the way she described it, the NCLEX was probably a little harder than the FE, but easier than the PE.

I mean I did pass it without studying but I was just curious to the comparison of the NCLEX. My Lab TM says the PE for EE was easier for him than the FE.

I don't get tired.
But I also don't have to drive for uber all night to pay my bills

I almost exclusively drive during the day, so congrats I guess.

I do feel sorry for your ilk. It must suck to have to work two jobs to live paycheck to paycheck

I'm an RN and took the NCLEX in 2010. Here are my thoughts. The Hurst Review was and still is (to the best of my knowledge) the only thing that she should take to prepare for it.
The difficulty in the NCLEX is strictly the vast amount of material that the questions could possibly come from. The Hurst Review focuses on and teaches you how to "figure out" the correct answer for the majority of questions by dissecting it after you read it and eliminating/narrowing down the answer choices. It teaches you how to think differently for this exam and how the questions and answers are structured, and how to choose in some cases..."the most correct" answer.
I think all people who received an RN degree have nursing knowledge, but I've seen several fail the NCLEX due to the questions being asked. For instance, they may ask a question about a med that is very rare and you've never even heard of it (the Nursing Drug Handbook is now over 1,600 pages long), and they may ask about side effects and what you as the nurse should teach the patient about this specific drug. Well, almost no RN would know this med and if they just so happen too, the chances are slim to none that they know all the potential adverse reactions and side effects...right? So then you have to break down the answers based off what the Hurst Review taught you.
I've seen extremely smart nurses fail (some multiple times) and I've seen some nurse not as smart pass on the first time and take the minimum 75 questions. Other than the Hurst Review, there isn't anything else out there that would be worthwhile in preparing for it IMO.
Also, some people have to take all 265 questions, regardless of whether they are getting them correct or not. My test shutoff after about 165 questions answered over a 4 hour period in which I passed.
* If I were you. I would get her a gift card (that she could use after taking the test), to a place that has margaritas to relieve the built up stress/anxiety afterwards...seriously lol.
