The OT's favorite bar shut down again. Apparently, a TRO is what reopened them last week, and it was "improperly used".
I guess somebody needs to come up with more cash

Freedom isn't free.

I remember when this state had the Rebel spirit and told the Feds to piss off with their 21 year old drinking laws. Now they are just as bad.

That's an understatement. I've seen too many judges who will just sign off on them without inquiring into the merits only to later find out there weren't any.

They threatened to pull interstate highway funding.

Legal drinking age increased, Baton Rouge traffic is still out of control.

One thing they need to do is cite that nobody was arrested in they way they are portraying. They were all MIPs or fake ID summons I believe. Not a single person put in cuffs that night.

Here's your M4 and your Abrams tank, son.
But you can't drink. You're not responsible enough. Now go be the enforcer of our foreign policy around the world.

hearing with the Louisiana Office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control on Thursday

Hearing is Thursday. I'm guessing there's going to be some kick arse drink specials Thursday night after they get the chance to payoff those that got missed last time.

My philosophy: if you can produce a military ID you ought to be able to buy a drink.

Old enough to serve? Old enough to be served.

You gotta be careful. Those things talk to each other, they gossip.

I guess that's what happens when you get a criminal defense lawyer to argue the TRO your company's livelihood depends on.

I don't even care about a military ID. If you are of age to go kill people all around the world, you should be able drink.
