Suggest putting this topic on the home and garden board. Might want to check if there’s a space for the cool survey to go from the freezer to the refrigerator. I’ve had it happen a few times where that was clogged with ice. If that’s the problem, just need to defrost/remove the ice from that space and you should be good.

It's the fan that blows the air from the freezer to the fridge side. Mine was a circuit board failure and was like $300. This was 06 maybe?

Defrost heater or defrost timer (maybe...probably). Unplug the frig. Ohm out the heater. If it's good plug frig back in and advance the timer by hand to the defrost point and see if it goes into defrost. If it does then the timer isn't advancing on it's own. Replace the timer.
When a freezer can't defrost is will build up ice and frost eventually blocking the fan from moving air over the evap coil. No air movement means to air to frig. Also, it could be the evap fan itself. These are just things you need to check. Can't tell for sure without being there.

Tried cleaning coils, hard resetting it, no luck. Anybody have any tips or tricks?
I had a similar issue on my whirlpool.. tried same thing you did.
Found this video on YouTube
Replaced the defrost control board ($22 on Amazon). No luck.
Then replaced the thermostat ($14 on Amazon) and it fixed the problem.
ETA: make sure fans and condenser are working before trying to replace these parts.

Are you absolutely sure the freezer is working? One time I had the whole thing quit cooling. It just took a couple of days longer to realize the freezer was out because it he freezer was really full.

Easy fix. This is a defrost error "assuming you don't have dual evaporator ".
If the vents between the freezer and the fridge get blocked with ice the fridge won't cool. If you manually defrost it will take over 24 hours a hair dryer speeds it up though to be honest you won't get to the ice without removing the back interior wall.
Yes it's worth paying someone to fix. This is the most common fridge failure.

Samsung are mostly dual evaporator with a Samsung the problem is usually moisture getting in from bad rear sealing. There is a class action lawsuit over that.

On some units changing the fan is simple. On some units it's a long job. Depends on how the shelving and panels are installed.
Side by side and top freezer and easy for the DIYer. French door usually aren't.
Also the WORST, dumbest design is any fridge with an ice maker in the fridge section. Which sadly is most fridges now.

I rarely change defrost heaters. Very rarely. Like off hand I can't remember the last one. None this year so far. The #1 thing is the defrost terminator. Or bimetal. It is what cuts power to the heater once it hits a certain temperature.
Fridges don't have timers anymore. It's all adaptive defrost control. Some like GE you jump to test the heater. Others like Maytagg and Amana you hit a button combination.
A fan failure or a defrost failure is the OPs cause but not enough information is given to specifically help him.

OP is obviously making shite up as there are no model and configuration specs.
