red light cameras

So it seems as though little Hedgeman couldn't quite make it through the College and Perkins intersection before the light changed. Got this ticket in the mail saying he owes 117$ (which seems ridiculous) but am pretty sure he does not actually have to pay it right?

I would say that you wouldn't have to pay if you were the one that ran the red light but 100% absolutely make that little shite pay as a warning for him to unfrick himself before his crap driving gets you sued one day.
