Why don't people believe that it's just trash? Throw it away. They can't do shite. frick BR and their stupid red light tickets.

After the letters about the tickets I started receiving letters about sending to a collection agency? Is that a hollow threat too? Any chance it shows up on a credit report?

My wife gets these things all the time. Never paid them over a period of 5-10 years. No issues. It's a trashy money grab.

they are just hoping that a percentage of the people will send in the money. If enough people quit paying them, the program would be ended.

They have no way to make you pay. They know these tickets are in a borderline gray legal area so they don't really try to enforce them.

Did you ever consider maybe just changing your driving habits and not run a red light at least once a month for years?
