Red Light Camera Ticket in BR- Too late to trash it after watching Video?

I got a ticket in the mail for not coming to a complete stop off Coursey before turning right. Watched the video online of the "crime", and I said I'd send the letter back and go to court and ask the judge to throw it out.
Little did I know the letter has to be sent back all the way Washington state by Thursday the 27th (I just got it in the mail this past Thursday).
Should I just ignore it or still send the letter for the court date? Does watching the video online prove I got the ticket/letter and am ignoring the ticket?

This is what I was wondering, so the only way to not pay anything for a dumb camera ticket is to ignore it??
I just don't want to get the truck booted parked at an LSU game, downtown, or some nonsense

They don't do anything to you. My wife has a number of them that are years old. I've watched some of the videos. They'll just send you a letter from out of state law firm every few months. I toss those too.

DO NOT PAY IT.
They will not/cannot boot your vehicle, send you to collections, or anything else. It's all a bullshite attempt to scare you into giving them money.
Ive gotten at least 5 and never paid. They can't do shite to you.

I got one near the beginning of last year. It’s been about 7 months since I even got a letter from the out of state law firm about it. I have heard on here that if you park on the street the city could boot your vehicle, but I’ve never actually seen or heard anything official on that. I asked a couple city cops about it and they seemed to think I was fine. That’s just my experience though, if you get booted in the street down town, not my fault haha.

Well it sure ain’t getting booted by BRPD. They don’t do anything besides collect a check.

In BTR throw it out. In the future I wouldn't do anything that may indicate you even received the letter.

That doesn't matter either. I've watched the videos and even corresponded with them. I wrote on the original letter from red light enforcement from Ohio that I wasn't paying it unless they would let me face my accuser. Then I got the letter from the law firm out of Arizona and wrote them the same thing. Never heard back after that.

Id fight it. I have successfully fought these and won and even if I didnt win I got it reduced. They want your money no doubt, but they don't want it to be hard so if you show up to fight they are looking for the quickest easiest way to get some money from you and have you be gone.

Or even prove I was driving. I got one once from one of the kids driving a vehicle in my name. I'm not paying that shite.

It’s not legally a ticket. It’s a bill. No different than if I mailed you a random invoice. Zero connection to your drivers license or vehicle registration.

I get 1 a month from the Sherwood one. I fight off the urge to send it back with Monopoly money in it every time. End up just tossing it. Been doing it for years. Nothing will happen, it’s BS

This is still a thing? Where have you been? I've gotten at least 8-10 of those things over the years and I've yet to pay one. and guess what......NOTHING was ever done about it. Waste of time and paper. throw that crap in the trash can and go run another red light just for shits and giggles!
