I drink them with sour sweet tarts or sour Haribo gummies.

I remember when the bars were advertising that they had red bull. Freds did for sure and I was like wtf is red bull. Then I had a bomb and was hooked.

Yeah. Coke has 3.25 grams of sugar per oz. Redbull has 3.25 grams of sugar per oz. It's just with a redbull, you are drinking less oz.
An 8 oz Coffee has about 80 mg -120 mg of caffeine depending on variety of bean, roasting and brewing methods. An 8.3 oz redbull has 80 mg of caffeine. They are essentially the same.
I'm not going to impugn your choices, but don't delude yourself either.
