Unfortunately a lot of those wells have untreated or mistreated treated water in the well bore and the strings are being eaten by MIC. which means a lot of unexpected work for the work over boys as well
There is a shortage of engineers that are field capable in West Texas. Focus on Stimulation, Work over, completions and production related jobs
And look at production chemicals. TRUST ME, the industry is short handed, the job is interesting and once you are trained you will never be without a job
