Why waste the time? Whitey won’t get out to vote. Broome would have never been elected to begin with if whitey would have gotten out to vote the first time. frick a recall. Deal with her.

I have no doubt she will be re-elected. The opposition will be another yokel and she will always have the votes in the city limits. I knew this going to be bad but she has surprised me by her sweeping ignorance and complete incompetence. So, where do I sign?

This. My wife used to work for the Secretary of State, people file recall petitions all the time but for something big like the mayor of Baton Rouge you won't get the signatures and even if you somehow did you'd never have the actual votes.

There's a reason why they made the threshold to get signatures for a recall election absolutely impossible to get.

I would seriously vote for any one of those over Broome. And it will be the proudest vote I could ever make for a democrat.
And that's saying something for a MAGA trump supporter like me.
In fact, the republican party of EBR should make a deal with a sensible democrat candidate like Holden or Leduff that if they were to run against Broome, they would do everything they can to prevent any republican from gaining steam in the polls.
