When you start a new job and you ask your new coworkers what is the number to call IT and they tell you 99 11.. Be aware that is 9.. to dial out.. then 911.. And if you don't catch on an actually do dial 911, don't get embarrassed when the police has to come and check it out to confirm it was a mistake.. And then stay mad about it that you end up quitting at the end of the week.

This was done to a guy on a project I was, who worked in another department. This was about 10-12 years ago give or take a few years. I felt bad for the guy, but him getting embarrassed and pissed only made it funnier.

Seriously.. I have a cousin who is a drug addict (she has supposedly been clean the past 3 years, but sometimes here behavior is questionable, but not as questionable or obvious as it used to be.. but thats a different story).

She started using when she was dating this dude who was a bull rider. He got hooked on pain meds. He broke his back, when he started riding again he got kicked in the jaw by a bull and it broke, he had to have his mouth wired for awhile, etc.. I don't understand why people would ride bulls because the risk is much higher than the reward.. Anyway, he was bad off as well.

He ate all of his pills prescribed to him before the first week of a month supply. He calls his dr and tells them someone broke into his truck and stole them. They told him he needed a police report.. So this dumb arse calls 911 to say someone broke into his truck. The police said there was no evidence at all that someone broke in his truck and just stole his pain meds.

I was having a drink at the bar my cousin worked at when her boyfriend came in and was yelling and making this big scene about how the police wouldn't give him a police report and wanted to know if anyone could call someone to help him get a police report because he needed to get a new script for pain meds which only made him look like a desperate addict.
