No. That’s my issue with his story. Didn’t even have to be that second. It was hours before the jail knew they were even missing. I’m not even sure he ever reported it until confronted.

If true, lock him up. Those hours were crucial.

This is what I mean by him being stupid.

If this were true, he would be smart to report it the second they were gone and he was no longer in “danger”

He obviously wasn’t smart.

You think maintenance workers are alone with prisoners? Guards are barely alone with prisoners.

Guards are barely alone with prisoners.

In a First World jail, perhaps.

Guilty or not, he shouldn't have said a fricking thing without an attorney.

Privatize OPP.

Privatize the NOPD.

Privatize the SWB.

Let contractors run these things. Nola cannot self govern when it comes to critical life safety infrastructure. I've been saying this for years but it's true now more than ever as the Parish electorate has become way more liberal and woke lately . We'll just replace one Soros plant with another in the sheriff's race.

When the people “threatening” him had escaped prison and were fugitives?

The investigation showed he wasn't coerced.
