The actual price tag for a 767 is somewhere around $200 million.
It helps that the plane stands out on the runway. During a recent visit to the Bahamas detailed in TMZ’s report, the robin’s egg exterior of “Air Drake” drew plenty of attention to itself. “God’s Plan” is mysterious, but Drake just keeps counting up his blessings.

I admit that I don't know how the tax laws work in Canada, and that my 99% guess may be a little high, and that even if it is tax deductible he still has to be able to cashflow the operation.
My point though is that a good % of the total operating expenses should be a business write-off, so in the world of a guy with a 9-figure net worth one could make a case that it is a wise financial move.
He is going to spend $x flying anyways, and now he gets the advantages of freedom and brand promotion. For the 1% crowd those are usually worth the cost.
