The whole situation is just full of idiots. A headmaster that can't follow her own graduation schedule or politely ask a group of her students and parents to chill for 10 more minutes for a valedictory speech; and crowd of family and graduates disrespecting the program.

I'm not understanding what happened.
At first it was some trashy white people that were leaving then everyone was talking and next thing you be lady says look it's the black people leaving.
If in fact it was the black people getting up out of their seats and leaving how possibly is it considered racist for the the lady to simply say what she's seeing?
I swear, we've managed to get to the point in this country where anything said about black people that isn't pro black is racist.
Good for the woman, calling it like you see it babe. You're the boss anyways.

She referred to the white father of a graduate as a "goober" and a "coward" and proceeded to call the child the white guy was carrying a "thing".
That woman was the one being rude and insulting, far more than anyone in attendance. I cannot even fathom what made her think that speaking to anybody in the manner that she did was even remotely acceptable.

Meh, dumb arguments thus far on it not being racism. She introduced race into a situation where it wasn't relevant. If off camera a group of black people did get up, so what? Ask those people to sit down, but what point does it make to call them out on their race. The answer is of course that it doesn't.
