Race relations in America, but all relations for that matter, boil down to this

The worst thing you can ever do in your life is carry around unforgiveness. It’s far too heavy when trying to run the race of life. It quite literally causes damage to your physical health, mental health, personal relationships, and it keeps you far behind the pack in achieving your goals going forward when you’re carrying around all that unnecessary weight. It doesn’t help matters in the least when outsiders like politicians, and other people carrying similar baggage, or who simply enjoy you carrying around the weight, keep piling more on top of it for you to carry for them either.
At some point in life, either we are going to begin forgiving each other for stuff people did or perhaps didn’t even do, or we are going to collapse from exhaustion as a people. This is not sustainable behavior for any human beings, and it’s taken it’s toll on our society. The only people who benefit from this are politicians. That’s it. For everyone else, it’s proven to be one big negative. I don’t know when this is going to sink in, but it needs to and quick.

Well, it seems there is a grudge where there is some self shame. Seems like there is a lot of overcompensating these days, being they would like to think that they would say "frick you" to the whites, unlike their ancestors.
But if they were transported back to 1820 they wouldnt say shite, and if they did it would only be once and everybody knows it. It's really that simple.

Lots of appalling Injustices happen every single day, but we’ve been on this one for weeks, and it’s caused a ton of havoc as a result. Maybe if we focused on all of the injustices that happen in this country with the same outrage and ferocity we have with this particular one we could fix all the injustices, or maybe not. Maybe injustices are going to happen in an imperfect world and we need to balance our outrage and reactions with adult reasoning, and forgiveness. Seek justice yes, and always, but balance too.

Lots of wisdom in that post. Unfortunately, there are entire industries across the spectrum that rely on continuous controversy, outrage and grievance.
One of the most awful social and general media influences has been their contribution to a lack of civility in ordinary, everyday life.
I don't see it changing in my life time, which is indeed sad.
