Nah there is already a company near me doing 4-10s and a hybrid 3-12s. Basically it’s either Monday through Thursday or you can do Friday to Sunday and get paid for 40 even though you only do 36 hours. They have a waiting list of people trying to get hired on. All the other factories nearby can’t stay staffed and when you point out that they should model a similar work schedule; you get the “oh that wouldn’t work here” pushback. Then you say we’ll pay more and you get the “we can’t afford it”.
I always follow that up with adapt or die.
