Just bought a pack of Starbursts from Dollar General and spotted a movie ticket giveaway for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 inside.

Sounds like Family Dollar tactics have crossed over to the Dollar General. I think you need to switch to Dollar Tree. Tightwad.

I read a book once written by a Navy Seal I think and he ripped open a bag of M&Ms out of a MRE in 2004 or 2005 while in Afghanistan and said "Cool I can win a trip to the Olympics!" Another Seal asked which ones and it was for a trip to the Barcelona games in '92.
