You gotta be kidding right? Two hours a week of practice is “ intense”. At that age it’s anything but intense. It’s the beginning of teaching your kid work ethic and the reward given to those that do so. This is what happens when millennials start having children...

This has to be sarcasm, just the idea that people are taking 3 year olds to a organized sports practice tells me the world has gone off the rails, but "work ethic"?

Mine started at 4, we played community until 7 then started community + travel ball after the community season ended at 8.

This year at 11 he says baseball is boring and he doesn't want to play anymore.

Frick me, I loved it but apparently he didn't.

No, he loved it too. But your dumbass burned him out. That was way too much fricking baseball, starting when he was way too young, and lasting for way too long.

Kids get bored of things fairly quickly, especially if they have an underlying issue such as ADHD.

My sons been playing the last 5 years and I've spend a total of $300 on his gear in that time (helmets, shoulder pads, elbow pads, sticks, shoes, gloves, etc.). This includes not only his regular gear, but goalie gear as well

You got some cheap gear, baw. High quality shaft/head combos can easily be $200 alone.
