I can assure you it did.
I went right to the beach to sit down and read (might be a novel concept for you). I'm a good 40 feet from anyone. To my left a group of about 10 are set up and check all the boxes. Looked like three generations. Fat, tattoos, and cussing like nobody else is around. They have a tiny puppy tied up to their tent pole. Damn dog is yapping non stop and they kept yelling at it to shut up and go lay down.

Behind me to the right, some nimrods show up with a 3 month old. The baby is screaming non stop. After a while their solution is to go sit it in the cold water to see if it likes it. Screamed louder.

I like coastal MS and may want a retirement home there one day. I won't be able to afford Destin, but some of the MS towns seem cool with the little bars/restaurants and people driving golf carts around on the weekends and such.

I’m putting it into perspective along the same lines as the LSU football crowd and how they treat visiting fans. 98% will behave and mostly welcome visiting fans. The 2% assholes get all of the attention.

Kind of hoping there aren’t a bunch of local baws over there hanging out at the Shop-n-Go and gas stations all spreading ignorant crap about La people and the virus.
