My expert opinion is it's a second marriage for her and she's wary. And the guy might be gay.

Well that's easy. They are arguing about the dress and flowers.

What's your take on a couple who are "engaged," but eight months later, no date set and the female is not wearing a ring.

If money isn't an issue, maybe just saying they're engaged for social acceptance? Are they older?

You said she's not wearing a ring, is that by choice or because she doesn't have one? When he proposed was a ring involved?

That answers all other questions. If she's not wearing it by choice, she's fricking someone else. If there was never a ring, they're too poor to afford the ring/wedding or he never intended to marry her and she believed him when he said he'd get a ring.

Got married a few years ago and never wear my ring unless Im going somewheres special or maybe holidays or something. Never wore it much after I got it either. Hate to wear jewelry period and Im always scared of being mugged or it falling off

I'm sure your ring is insured for probably double it's actual value, I wouldn't be overly concerned about it. I know for me, as a man, I'd want my wife wearing a ring on a daily basis.

I may be a piece of shite for it but I swear i am fricking a girl currently who is in this exact same situation with a dude. He proposed to her on Christmas provided her with no ring and they have no date

I feel a little better about fricking her cause the dude a trashy POS

And she's trashy to I suppose

My fiancée and I have been engaged for over 3 years. She wears a ring, and we live together. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!

He's cheap

And she is easy

And they'll only get hitched when she becomes prego.
