Inexpensive and spartan but quality and you can find neat stuff there.
What's not to like?

All that sounds good except for the proliferation of dentists, car parts store, Dollar General…bleh.

There is more room to build shite along this stretch of Airline (looking for you, Waffle House!) so I’m looking at all the shite they infested Hwy 30 with, and I hope they don’t screw it all up…Hwy 30 is a major MAJOR clusterfrick for traffic. One lane each way with a turn lane? Idiocy.

The traffic light situation at Airline and Old Perkins is horrible at night. It feels like NBR with that depressingly dark Winn Dixie skeleton all fenced in and just sitting there, like someone said.

Doc Griffins place, I saw it was torn down already when I passed thru a couple weeks ago. He must have retired. Best, most logical vet I’ve ever met. He will be missed

1. I hope they keep all the autistic/disabled employees. Windixie was good for hiring those folks.

Aldi varies in quality and cleanliness depending on location. Above the Mason Dixon line the stores tend to be in lower class locations and leave a lot to be desired in terms of selection, quality, and store ambiance.

On the other hand, I have friends down south who love their stores, can afford to shop elsewhere, but are loving the selection and stores in their area. Some Aldis even have organic items.

So, YMMV!

Oh, and I don't know if it's the case everywhere, but you have to pay to get a shopping cart. And they have limited payment options, as well as product lines (tend to offer mostly Aldi brand, few national brands)
