About 4 years ago I was put in this position with my son. When he and his gf came to visit, me thinking that I might avoid an weird moment between us at bedtime, I pulled him aside to ask did I needed to prepare the guest BR (freshen sheets & extra blankets) he said, “mom, we’re all adults here.”
